REFUND POLICY

We stand behind our work. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for Black Anchor services.

1. Our Commitment

At Black Anchor, we are committed to delivering high-quality web design and digital marketing services. Because our services involve significant time, expertise, and resources, our refund policy reflects the nature of professional service delivery.

2. Deposits

If you cancel your project before any work has started — and prior to your agreed project start date — your deposit will be refunded in full. Please notify us in writing as soon as possible.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. This covers time spent on discovery, planning, research, and initial deliverables.

3. Project-Based Services

  • Deposits paid are non-refundable once work has begun
  • Payments made for completed milestones or deliverables are non-refundable
  • If you cancel mid-project, you will be invoiced for all work completed to date
  • Any overpayment beyond work completed will be refunded within 14 business days

4. Ongoing Retainer Services

  • Retainers are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable once a billing period has started
  • You may cancel a retainer with 30 days’ written notice
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle — no partial month refunds

5. When a Refund May Be Considered

  • We are unable to deliver the agreed services due to circumstances within our control
  • A billing error results in an overcharge
  • A duplicate payment is made

Refunds are not issued based on dissatisfaction with results that fall within the normal scope of digital marketing.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at hello@blackanchor.com with your name, company, the invoice in question, and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 10 business days.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Stripe processing typically takes 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
